LARA BOWEN
SUNSHINE &
STOLEN MOMENTS
Time spent traveling is the input; drinking in the surroundings, atmospheres, reflections, and refractions.

A shady corner of Monet's Garden in Giverny, a walk under marine pines on a European coastline, or the colours of a seaweedy pool on a Pembrokeshire beach.
A collection of moments imprinted onto the memory via the eyes and sketchbook, then left ruminating inside the subconscious. The eventual paintings are collections of memories processed and embodied.
This evolving series features shards of sunlight and snippets of blue skies, inviting you to focus on the good bits and simple pleasures but sometimes teasing you with temptation into shadier corners .
